grace, a mother of four according to the course marshal standing next to me. the mc was doing a good job of announcing the runners and their nationalities as they entered the finishing stretch, so she got a good cheer and lots of hand drumming on the billboards as she came to the finish. she was pretty spent.
ReplyDeletespeaking of women in uganda, men's and women's prize money was equal for men and women in all three races (10km, 21km, 42km) which i thought was pretty cool.
