since wes was so effusive in her praise of yesterday's pic, i thought that i would make another photo along the same lines. see how easy that is? you get what you want. so this is from a walk around the yard at sunset this evening looking for something to live up to day 16.
the tropical plants and trees here all grow from the inside up and out. so new leaves and branches are born in swirls from the belly of the plant. this is looking down in to the cone of one such leaf.
when i am often so concerned with subject and context and making sure that the background adds to the scene or, more importantly, doesn't distract from the scene, it's nice to make a photo that's just one color.
