31. whew. don't despair that you're going to have to wait days on end for my next photo. if nothing else, doing this got me more in the habit of making sure that i had a decent shot at the end of every day. i think i'll more or less keep that up.
the compound walls around here are crowned with glass bottles, razor wire or both. the evening sun on the glass looked good and thematically i thought it was a descriptive image of life in africa.
i was balanced on a pile of debris to get high enough for the shot as well as using my hand to shield the lens from the sun. it took a few tries to get a shot without flare, without my hand in the frame, and without blur from falling off the pile.
