today i took photos of the UFCA cultural troupe at their home - promotional shots for brochure and web site use. we met this troupe more than a year ago when paige hired them to perform at a workshop she was facilitating. we've stayed in contact since, and try to do what we can to help their cause. if you're the facebook type, here is their page.
ReplyDeletei didn't know they had moved to a new house, so it was a bit of a surprise to shoot some inside. their old place had a big yard where they could perform. the new place doesn't flood when it rains, so that's good. i got to work on my flash technique on the indoor shots, which was fun. only at 1/16th power, so it recycled quickly. i took some flash photos outside, too, but stopped doing that because at the higher power the recycling time was too long, and i needed to take more than one photo every 15 seconds.
the group is super fun, so i imagine i'll do more photos for them in the future.
