this is probably as close as i've been to a giraffe. they're not shy, necessarily, but they also don't always stand to admire the vehicle the way some of the animals do. i haven't gotten any giraffe photos that i've been particularly excited about, but i've got no problems with this one in terms of simple background with nice color, and good composition and expression of the giraffe.
ReplyDeletethey're such crazy creatures, it's tough to capture. i think i'd love to get really close and get a wide-angle shot that really makes a caricature of how gangly they are. will work on how to get 6 feet away from one.
