immature collared sunbird

    i finally moved back in to my new-again office since paige moved her office out of the house and in to the boy's quarters, taking my desk with.

    i'm set up in a new spot next to a window that opens on to these bushes with the yellow flowers that the sunbirds like. so i just keep the screen open, and whenever i hear a sunbird chipping outside i can pick up my camera and get photos from a few feet away.

    unfortunately, the yellow flowers seem to attract only females and juveniles - adult males being the most colorful and therefore preferred target. hopefully see some soon.

    time is limited because we may have to dig up all these plants and bushes since their roots are growing in to our sewer drain pipes.
