it was cold before the race. -15F and plenty of wind. my right ring finger froze and a big chunk of the tip will fall off in a couple weeks. everyone seemed pretty happy, though, and the big fires were popular congregation points.
ReplyDeletei really like portraits with my 16-35 zoomed to 35mm. it works out to a little over 50mm full-frame film equivalent. definitely makes me want to get a full-frame digital or a film camera with a 50mm.
after further review, i really wish the truck weren't there, or that it was farther left and not touching the guy in the foreground. so hard to see those things in the moment. all it would have taken to fix is me moving 6-12 inches to my left.
