belle and bea look similar, but i don't know them well enough to tell them apart. hence the title.
this was taken with a lens that i totally covet. canon 50mm f/1.2. it's a huge piece of glass that just feels like quality and precision. i have the 50mm f/1.4 and, really, the quality isn't much different. i'm a sucker for well-made things with high price tags, though. sigh.
this is just after sunrise - i think you can see the sun just above the trees reflecting in her eye. it's not one of those pictures that you look at and say, "oh, what great light" but it was great light and it really helps the color and contrast of the shadows and highlights here. i think.
