and who can resist a cute dog photo? i actually spent a while trying to get him to look at me from a good angle. i'm glad that you can see the rei tag on his neckwarmer.
for the most part i shoot aperature priority and play a lot with the exposure compensation. i'm getting pretty good at reading what my camera is going to expose a scene at and adjusting accordingly. here it's +2/3 stop. shooting in sun and snow you generally have to compensate quite a bit to the + side.
