i spent today walking the course to find my spots for tomorrow's pursuit races. even though it was below zero, i had gloves with holes, i had salomon clogs for footwear, and i was dealing with a 90-degree temperature change, i had no issues. africa, schmafrica. you can take the boy out of winter, but you can't take the winter out of the boy...
it was cloudy today, and i'm a little worried about my locations if it's sunny tomorrow. i just don't know where the shadows are going to be and if it will screw up the locations. always an adventure.
some athletes (you can tell who they are by their bibs:) use these mouthpieces to heat up the air. at least i think that's what it's for.
