classic african landscape. savanna and acacias.
ReplyDeletethese are hard shots to get right. dark enough to get the detail of the sky and the clouds and the shafts of sunlight coming through, but light enough to still have some color and detail to the landscape.
digital. it is so nice to have that instant feedback and adjust exposure accordingly. i could have gotten this image with film (sure.) but it would have taken an entire roll of film and nearly every exposure setting possible. and even then i wouldn't have known what exposure i had used on the favorite image when i got the film back, so i wouldn't be able to duplicate the image next time.
