this is dan, the head honcho in the pride we saw. we found the lions about one half hour before sunset so it was great timing from a standpoint of having good light and the lions being more active than comatose.
ReplyDeletei missed a couple good yawns and some playtime moments because i was watching instead of looking through my camera but it being the first time i had seen lions, i wanted to actually see them myself some instead of through a dusty viewfinder. this was the only time dan looked right at me, though, so i was glad to get this moment.
