i've felt that, like flower photos, butterfly photos are somewhat cliched but i still had to share this one. this butterfly photo (best to right click and open in a new tab or window) is the one other that i've taken that i like.
ReplyDeletethere's nothing particularly exceptional about the composition or the butterfly - i'm happy with the colors and the dark background - but what i'm most interested in is showing off how sweet my new lens is. enlarge the snapshot for the full 4MB 2336 x 3504px image and check out how crisp the scales on the wings are.
proof that i only have myself to blame, not my equipment, if i can't get a good shot.
