paige found this one walking across the driveway. it's the only way we can spot them.
with previous chameleon pictures, i've used a wide aperture and shot them from the front. it makes a nice effect of their body blurring in to the background. emphasized by the fact that they're the same color.
here i stopped down to f/5.6 to sharpen things up and gain a larger depth of field. and i moved to a position where its body was parallel with the focal plane so all the detail of its skin?/scales? is in focus. especially with the sun coming from above, the texture really shows up.
