i'm always trying to get more competent and confidant with flashes, but i think i'm always going to be a natural-light photographer. it's just easier to see something that's there than to visualize what isn't. and the infinite possibilities of light when you can control it (especially if you have multiple flashes) can be paralyzing. i tend to like it when choices are already made for me and i just work with it.

the reason that he looks so relaxed and natural is because his wife is a photographer too and he's used to being someone's photographic guinea pig.
