stephen is a community health worker from deep in mubende district who i interviewed and photographed. he does depo provera shots. depo is injected birth control for women, i think lasting three months between treatments.
ReplyDeletethe rainbow over the flower symbol on his shirt is the universal (at least in uganda) family planning symbol.
got a couple photos of him in his shop before heading to his home (through the door) to record the interview.
calendars are big here in uganda. he even has one of mine on the wall. the cover is showing with the 12 squares on it.
so many of the places have such amazing light coming in through the doors and windows. this was no exception.
