this morning we got up at 4:30am to go to a restaurant that was having an all-night CNN marathon. there were probably around 30 people there, many of whom really had all-nighted it. i can't imagine watching talking heads for eight straight hours. no wonder there were so many empty beer bottles around.
so we got there at just the right time. the central and mountain polls were closing and they had just called pennsylvania for obama. news started happening pretty quickly then - we only had to sit through one hologram interview and one hologram senate map.
i'm really glad we went. fun to run in to friends heather and chris (to the left of paige in the middle photo). obama's acceptance speech was great. there were tears all around. odin's future is looking a lot brighter.
traffic jam later in the day gave a little view of the driver next to me reading the paper. and a familiar face looking back at me.

Love the last photo looking through the car window! So do they drive on the wrong side in Uganda just like us Brits? :-)
