we get our grass trimmed once a month or so. they mow with weed wackers here. well, they mow with long, crooked machetes here, but as far as motorized mowing, this is what they use. can you imagine mowing a golf course with one of these? yup.
anyway, today i asked the kid if i could get a snap of him and he obliged no problem. i printed out the photos to give him, but he and his dad finished so fast (usually there's only one guy mowing). so i gave the pics to our gardener who hires them. hopefully the photos will find their way to him.
the wide shot my camera was still on the full autofocus array, which i almost never use except i was taking action photos of the cats last night. so my focus is not where i wanted it to be, on the boy. but i do like the foreground being in focus. it's not a dealbreaker.
the close portrait is just the kind of portrait i want to take more of here. direct, in to the camera, not much expression. i really like it.
i give notes and commentary on all of my photos in the comments section. click thegreenpost title to show that photo with my comments below. please add your own comments or critiques and thanks for checking in! -phil
