it was starting to get dark out and i realized we hadn't taken a family portrait so i whipped this together quick. it's a one second exposure and i fired the flash remotely with a pocket wizard in the hand you can't see.
self-timer portraits do well for kids because the light blinks and gets faster and faster as the shutter release approaches. so it holds Odin's attention. not that he usually has a problem looking at cameras.

ReplyDeleteDo you just have one hard light in the upper front left? And the rest just ambiant lighting?
